    Choprock Canyon

After Neon, we hit Choprock (named Kaleidescope by the first descent party, one of which we were able to do some canyons with later in the trip). It was my third time in the canyon and it was great as always. The water was cold and we kinda rushed to stay warm. I had a 4/3 suit with a 2mm shortee on top. I was warm as long as we were moving but my hands were numb most of the time. I'm a HUGE wuss when it comes to getting cold though. As usual, pics on the blog, some previews here:

The canyons are obviously cool, but I'm really impressed with your pics.
Are you sure you didn't bring the DSLR(nice job in harsh light)

I'm amazed at how well photoshop fixes some of the washed out portions. As long as they are not too washed out, it can fill them in with what was underneath that big white spot. Pretty amazing. One of these days the in camera software will probably be able to do this and we won't have to fix them afterwards. I hear a bunch of point and shoots have HDR settings now. Crazy stuff. And just so no one thinks these images are coming straight from the camera, here are the originals (if this gets too off topic we can move the discussion over to the dark room).
