Dinner Thursday Night - May 20 - Springdale
Hey all, this part of the forum hasn't seen much traffic in a while. There's talk going on elsewhere about the Family Fest going on this coming weekend in Zion. Here's the discussion in the forum.
However, I just want to put out an invite to anyone in the area, even if not taking part in the camping or hiking/canyoneering trips, to come and join us for dinner on Thursday night in Springdale. We're already up to at least 10 people, with more likely to join in, so we're going to meet up at the Pizza & Noodle. Hopefully we'll be able to jam in whoever shows up!
Let's plan to meet there between 6 and 6:30, if that sounds OK? Should give time for permit purchases, equipment rentals, etc...

If I can get out of work early tomorrow I'd like to run up and get some new brew.

Nice! These sound particularly good:
Epic
Galloway Porter » a dark, robust beer with roasted chocolate and coffee-like malt flavors. (6 percent ABV)
Copper Cone Pale Ale » an "over the top" Pale Ale with a deep copper color and loads of dry hops. Will appeal to aficionados. (6.5 percent ABV)
825 State Stout » flavors include a combination of roast chocolate, toffee, mocha, coffee and roasted nuts. (5.5 to 7 percent ABV)
Uinta
Detour Double India Pale Ale » Made with four different varieties of hops, it contains 9.5 percent alcohol by volume. Pairs well with spicy Mexican or Thai food. $6.95 per bottle.
Tilted Smile Imperial Pilsner » With 9 percent alcohol by volume, the lightest beer of the line. Pairs well with white fish and lighter pastas. $6.95 per bottle

Woa. Epic looks epic! I'd bring some CA brews if I was driving.
