I thought my Crashes were bad
Wonder how you work up to riding/crashing like these guys? Must be good friends with Mary Jane?

Almost all of those guys are pros. At 1:23 the video shows footage of the RedBull rampage that was shot in Virgin,UT in 2000. These were specially invited pros from around the world. I used to ride with 2 of the guys. Needless to say, I quickly became afraid of heights. If you could make it down a race course in one piece consistently, you were either a perfect rider, or you quickly learned how to crash with the least amount of carnage. Most that I know fit the latter category. I know that a lot of them drank heavily and smoked a lot of dope, which of course made them invincible. I learned one thing that has stuck for me from one these pros. Krispy used to say "Anticipate where you want to end up, stay committed, grip and steer. My friends and I have fun analzing our own video, almost everytime, you see a rider letting go of the bars uncommitted just before the crash. You won't see that with the pros.
