I went to the lake yesterday and tried their method, it actually works! I was able to run on water, I couldn't walk though. You really have to go at about 20 degrees angle, no more than that. If you lean more, you will fall, it's all about physics

You can really see it at about 1:14, the larger wave following their steps. This means something is bouncing back up. It's convincing a lot of people though.
