South Mule Canyon
Last weekend, me and a couple friends headed down to Cedar Mesa for a quick overnight in Mule Canyon. They had never done a backpacking trip so I figured I would break them in with an easy canyon and plenty of ruins to explore. We made camp where the canyon splits and heads north. We spent most of our time walking the benches and checking out a few of the ruins in the side canyon. Unfortunatley, we didn't make it any further up the main section of the canyon after the split. We left fairly early Sunday morning for a long drive back to Salt Lake. We saw more cows than people and no flat tires back at the truck
This was my second time to the area and after seeing some TR from here, I would love to spend some time in Grand Gulch. Endless trips down there.
