Trip has been planned for over 1 month and anexpected completion time of nearly 12 hours. We did not want to do the last rappel in the dark. [FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]But we were prepared with plenty of ropes: 2-200s; 2 -100s; 1Last edited by Iceaxe; 04-26-2010 at 03:15 PM.

Bruce,
Thanks for all the effort you put in for us during this adventure. I had a great time and I'm ready to go again, preferably when the air temp is a little warmer!Bryan in Las Vegas

Nice TR Bruce, I love that canyon as well. I can tell you from personal experience that the 2nd to last rap is a rope eater. I have had to ascend the rope and reset the line on two different occasions, one of them in complete dark, both of them with a lot of descriptive adjectives that I'm sure everybody hiking up Pine Creek heard...not my crowning moment. Of course, the last rap is the penultimate, especially when it's flowing...right?
All the same still my favorite canyon in Nev. And with it's proximity to LV it has become an instant classic for me.
Nice job in taking your time and doing it right.
