Older Burley
I want to take my son with me on rides so I got my parent's Burley out of their barn and fixed it up. But when I tired to hook it to my bike the disk break rotter gets in the way. It's about 12years old I think.
Is there any way to rig it so that it can fit. Or do they sell something to convert it to hook somewhere else on the bike. I would love to get this one to work it is in great shape and don't want to drop the dough for a new one.
Thanks.

Q. I have a bike that has a non-traditional type of frame and I'd like to purchase a Burley trailer to carry my children in. Will the Burley hitch work?
A. Here are our guidelines for selecting a hitch to fit a specific bike.
Standard Forged Hitch: Designed to fit most bicycles. Alternative Hitch- QR and Nutted axle versions
- Standard Forged hitch comes with every Burley
- Works with disc brake and full suspension. Does not fit all Breezer style dropouts
- Made of forged 6061 T6 aluminum
- Mono-stays require a longer safety strap which can be purchased separately.
- Fits both quick release and 9.5 mm and 10.5 mm nutted axles
- Mono-stay bicycles require a longer safety strap which can be purchased separately
- Comes with safety strap, lock pin, and hardware
- Made of steel and 6061 T6 aluminum
- Fits just about everything that has a quick release
- Short quick release126 x 135mm: rear hub over locknut dimension (O.L.D.) between 126 mm and 135 mm
- Long quick release 140 x 160 mm: Fits bikes with a rear hub over locknut dimension (O.L.D.) between 140 mm and 160 mm (tandems)
- Nutted Axle 9.5 mm 26 TPI nut
- Nutted Axle 10.5 mm 26 TPI nut
- Comes with safety strap
- Stays attached to the trailer’s tongue and switches easily between traditional bike frames
- Works with bicycles with Breezer style drop outs. Does not fit with most bicycles with disc brake or rear suspension
- Does not fit mono stay bicycles
