Wow, that's an amazing encounter! Glad they're OK. But did they get any of the moose?

Several years back before we had digital cameras. We had a bull moose trying to mount some of the horses in camp while elk hunting on Monte Cristo Mountain, Utah. We had to throw rocks at it to get it to leave the horses alone. The next year while deer hunting opening day I had a young bull moose follow me for most of the morning hunt. I enjoyed his company he kept with in 50 yards of me the whole time, however he didn't help me with the deer hunting. Damn thing sounded like a bull dozer walking through dead fall. Bulls don't bug me as much as cows, my dad drew the Ogden River Drainage Moose tag in 1992. We harvested a large bull who was amongst many cows. The cows dedicated quite a funeral service for the old bull, they didn't let us close to him for almost 2 hours.
