    teutonia peak

this is a really nice area in the east mojave national scenic area in california not far off i-15 and accessible from the paved cima road. another 2-3 weeks and the flower bloom would make this hike even nicer. the landscape is an amazing joshua tree forest and mojave desert garden, pictures don't come close to how scenic the terrain is. you can make this a quick jaunt or an all day relaxed wander thru the area.
