Retrievable Webbing
Hey Guys -
I am brand new to canyoneering and was hoping someone could help me.
I was watching this video from BogleyFest in Moab:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kS6rPzTEHs
On the 2nd rappel, the team uses a very long piece of maroon webbing around a rock archway, and it appears to be retrievable. It looks like they used a rapid link and a biner up top.
Can anyone explain how they retrieved this webbing?
Much Appreciated.

Welcome to Bogley.
I assume you mean the retrievable anchor at the 5:40 minute mark?
That is Moab Mark's work. It's explained here:
http://www.bogley.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14259
I think its the coolest of all the retrievable anchor methods I've seen used to date.
And I'm locking this thread to keep all discussion of this method in one place.
