Great report! My wife and I did Princeton in August 2008. The peak was in the clouds the entire hike right up until we reached the peak. Then it cleared.It was magnificent, but not nearly as clear as what you had. I still can't be believe I didn't take my camera. I assumed there was no point because of the clouds. Oh well.
I assume the cabin you are talking about is the one at the end of the road? There is no way I'd drive that last half mile in the winter, that section of the road is bad enough in the summer.Kevin Kemp, http://TripReportsPlus.com
