    front forks

I need to up grade to a better fork. The guy at the bike shop wants me to go with air recon rock shox solo.

I want to go with the tora 318 u tiurn coil because of adjs and travel. He states the recon will be a better ride and less weight. the tora will only give me 1 and a half more inches. To me i think the travel is more important.

But i need some advise on this one thanks ya'll.

You really cant go wrong with either one but if he REALLY wants you to go with the Recon then he's should give you a better deal. The Tora is a good basic fork, easy to adjust and reliable. The Recon is lighter yes but you probably wont feel the weight difference when riding unless youre a racer(weight weenie). Is he listening to you or is he trying to sell you a fork?
