Heading down to the Big Easy for the Superbowl (party)
Another road trip, this time heading down to New Orleans with my sister who's been visiting for the last 2 weeks. Just can't bear not to be around all my friends & family back home for the Superbowl. Win or lose, should be one hell of a party!
Oh.....btw.....I will also be there during Mardi Gras! Can't wait. I need this break!!!!

Oh how I love that city....
This upcoming weekend would be an epic time to be down there. Even the 60F weather would feel great.....
Have fun!

Thanks! It's actually 70 right now and the skies are sunny and clear! This town is already losing its mind and Sunday is still 5 days away! Win or lose, there will be partying going on.

Honestly, I don't really care much about football. I am big stirring up shit though. It's just way too easy down there. I must admit, if I never hear the words "who dat" again, it will be too soon.
Have fun down there Savanna. I'll actually be in Broussard for some training so I'm going to miss the whole thing.

Kinda like being in Pittsburgh and bad-mouthing the Steelers.

Sorry you will miss the festivities.
btw.....I have to agree about the Who Dat thing.....but you didn't hear that from me, ok?!

Superbowl - N'awlins style
I will post some photos when I get the chance, but can I tell you that this city (New Orleans) has lost its mind??!!!
Mardi Gras is not for another 10 days and I think it will pale in comparison to what is going on this weekend. I love the fact that the people can make fun of themselves as well. Going through the Garden District, people have put paper mache pigs with wings on them hanging from the branches and there are a half dozen commercials showing hell freezing over. Win or lose today, the city is closing the schools and holding a Mardi Gras style parade for the Saints team on Tuesday. This day has been a long time coming (more than 40 yrs). Should be one hell of a game today!
