That picture is Monticello (7050'), which is a lot higher than Blanding (6050').... but still a lot of snow...

    Shane,

Help a poor feable computer operator out how did you get that picture to let you copy it?

This one is a little tricky because the actual picture address is hidden inside KSL's slide show.... but....

Put your cursor over the picture and right click. Select Properties, The URL address for the picture is

    Code:
    http://www.ksl.com/emedia/weatherpics/4/447/44706.jpg?filter=ksl/pgallery
This is normally all you need but with KSL they add a filter code on the end that you need to strip off....

So the actual picture address is

    Code:
    http://www.ksl.com/emedia/weatherpics/4/447/44706.jpg

Holy snow! that's a lot of water for that dry parched, drought-loving land down there....

Up here, snowpack is well below normal and everyone is murmuring of drought. We have about a foot of snow on the ground, but other than a fresh inch it is all old and crusty and left over from last month.

six inches have fallen since last night. Which exceeds all the snow that has previously fallen in the Raleigh area since we moved here 6 years ago.

    Greater Ader

Yesterday afternoon here in Ada, Oklahoma...

Our electricity was off for 30 hours. Some residents are still without power. I did read an extended forecast calling for spring in two months.
