Swype - on screen keyboard upgrade (not available on some phones.. currently in beta)
Dolphin - Internet Browser with awesome integration with Gmail, Igoogle, Google reader ect...
ASTRO - File Manager
jkappswitch - tool for switching and shutting down apps
Mort - great music player that's based on folder structure rather then ID3 tags.
barecode scanner - scan bar codes with the camera.
ringdriod - make your own custom ring tones from mp3s
OSmonitor - shows what your phone is really doing

Astrid - schedule in project deadlines. (in my case class assignments)
DroidLight - uses the Flash LED's for the light. (has been very handy)
Pixelpipe - upload pictures to photobucket or others
WeatherBug Widget
and my favorite "gStrings" not kidding.. it's a guitar tuner and is more accurate then my regular guitar tuner.

Just installed and have been messing around with InstaMapper.
This app uses the phones GPS to post the phones current location on http://www.instamapper.com/. Now the cool part is that you can enable the app by sending a special SMS message to your phone and it will start tracking.

I'm in love with this app called "Hoccer" uses AdHoc to transfer data via a frisby like throw.

also available for iphone.. so i plan on testing this out with friends tomorrow. it takes 2nd place in my book right after swype.

Beautiful Widgets is totally worth the 1.50 price tag. The main widget has a clock/alarm, weather, and calender link built in... oh and you can skin it.
