    North Wash, Turkey knob and other goodies

    DUDE. That great horned owl is AWESOME.

    unfortunately, they are gonna shut down some canyons if they find out that humans are spotting 'em...

    how'd you like turkey knob? it looks fantastic. i can't believe i haven't got up there yet. it sits there and begs me to come visit it, but i always push it aside. i'm now motivated to check it out.

    Turkey Knob was awesome. I too have passed by it several times without making the effort to climb it. The views are great up there and it is well worth it. In the hot season, the sand is probably harder to walk through then when it is wet or frozen, but it shouldn't be that bad.

    Great stuff, Scott. :) I showed it to my kids, and now at least my youngest (age 6) wants to go out to do more hiking with me as a result.
