Afternoon at Rockport
Spent the afternoon on the ice Saturday at Rockport. It was slow, and when they did hit it was very light. I caught a couple on a perch pattern crippled herring tipped with meal worms. Got off the ice at dusk. It wasn't bad, a little overcast but no crud in the air. Filleted them and had them on the grill by 6ish that evening. Good afternoon!

The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still alive. SGH

Nice job. The fishing at Rockport wasn't too great on Saturday, from what most people reported. Glad that you did well.
I just tried filleting my fish and ended up with a real mess (again - i suck).Lost On A Hill
