Right near the beginning of the trail when it first starts going downhill? Looks like the same spot my brother bailed at the 2nd time he rode it with me.

That's what you call bad line choice, something I'm all too often guilty of. Awesome to get that on film

Yeah, it looked a little sketchy but we were all feeling a little over confident. If you look close, you can see me about to follow Mark up top, but then I skidded to a stop when I saw him go down.

Yeah, real bad angle, next time i'll stay on the trail and take the smaller drop

    Man Mark, you got waxed.

What got broken on both the bike and Mark?

Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.
The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still alive. SGH

Let's back up a minute.... :-) Was he OK? (obviously able to get up, no damage??) Was the bike OK???
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. ~ Frost

Yeah, he made it out ok, the bike wasn't hurt at all. Mark's shoulder and ribs were a little sore, but I don't think it was anything serious.

If it were, it wouldn't be so funny.

I have never seen a broken kona yet. I have a bad habit of accidentally leading people down drops or bad lines. The kona probably would have made it, if it had been steered to stay on the trail. It definitely was a bad line, you can see me grab the rear brake to keep my rear wheel on the trail or otherwise I also would have headed down the same path.
