The Desert Claims it's Own
Thanks to information from Bretoyce, my wife and I went on a hike around St. George Sunday. We found 7 tortoise shells and 1 dead coyote...

Interesting that you saw that many shells, I've seen one in Snow Canyon, it was small and still had "parts" in it. We felt bad seeing how it had been chewed on.
Can't beat hiking St George in this weather.
