Santa Clara River Reserve - Great Hike

I'd never been over to this area and didn't know what I was missing. We did about a 4 mile in and out hike on one of the trails.

This took us up to some great views and lots of petroglyphs. You folks that mountain bike it looks like there are quite a few decent trails:

We'll be going back to do some other Winter hikes.

nice pics...cool place and you are right, there are some good mtn biking trails all through that area..I am told, but have not found it yet, that there is a trail that hooks this area with the stucci trial.

I got to see these over Thanksgiving weekend. They are pretty cool and I do want to ride that trail I think they call it the Anasazi trail or something.

    Nice pics and cute dog!

Nice!! Great pictures! Great trail doggie, too!
I was wondering....years ago, kids used to hike from the bridge all the way where it starts in Shivwits Reservation Land and walk the river all the way to Santa Clara. Is there any chance of Native Paiute permits to hike the river in that section? Anyone know? contact their office?
