    North Cascade's from the air

My son Aaron just found this. Loads of peaks recognized. From the albums posted in August. Sloan, Kyes and Monte Cristo in the last 20 seconds. What fun

I'm originally from Seattle and grew up on "Over Washington." I love it and it makes me homesick. I need to bust it out again and watch it. I was lucky and picked it up for ten bucks at a Half Price Books in Redmond. If you want it, start searching here:

Also, my wife always makes fun of the synthesized music.
Just where is it I could find bear, beaver, and other critters worth cash money when skint?

That was quite enjoyable. Counted over 20 summits visited in the 1st link and triple that in the 2nd. Passed e-mail's and pictures along to many old partners, of past adventures and put a few out as challenges of what still lays on the "to do" list. Like this one.

This 2 mile grade 5 has been staring us in the race for years. Looks like a return to the NE buttress of Goode ( http://www.pbase.com/nolock/image/40167053) has taken a back seat to finally going to Johanesberg NE Buttress. Summited the thing by the complex west route , so we know the way off which has eaten the lunch of many a climber that runs circles around me. Got a nervous stomach just thinking about it.
