Can't really tell if that is the same river or even taken on the same day but if Summit believes you, I guess I should too. Was it cold?

That's a nice hike. A friend and I did this a few years back and planned on camping at Virgin Springs where it met the San Rafael and continuing on the next day over the pass and back down Cane Wash, but we decided to just hoof it and finish the whole thing that day. Really a beautiful place that you have mostly to yourself.
Just where is it I could find bear, beaver, and other critters worth cash money when skint?
