I wanted to be a platoon leader and carry a real toy Thompson when I was a kid, but I had to use a tennis racket instead.

I still have the slot car race set and about 50 miles of race track. I really had about 10 race track sets and we would hook them together and make massive race tracks. the tracks were so long it would take 5 or 6 transformers to power them.

I love trains, as well as my boy. I've got a couple of HO scale train sets.

I have my Dads old Lionel electric train set. I LOVE IT! The horn still works and it is fun to play with. I just might set it up this year for x-mas it has been awhile since I pulled all the tracks out.
For the last 2 1/2 years I have had an old man in the neighborhood contact me about every three months asking me if I want to sell it yet. Sweet guy... but I have no intentions of parting with one of my prize possesions.Chere'

My sister got this doll for Christmas one year. I thought it was so cool!
Dancerina was THE doll to get for Christmas 1969. She was a 24 inch tall Ballerina doll. She had batteries in her back and when she was turned on, you would hold her by the knob in the center of the crown on her head and she would spin around on her toes.
later --- My brother got this...
As arcade machines hit big, Atari then released a home version of its original and most popular game Pong in 1975. One of the first home gaming systems, Sears had an exclusive on distribution and sold out of its over 100,000 units quickly. Two years later, Atari would release a more versatile multi-game system which is largely considered the first modern gaming console. At the Thunderbird, when I came to visit while in college they actually were still using atari computers to do payroll.
I changed that.
