San Rafael trip this Saturday (11/14) - need partner(s)
Hi everyone:
I am new to the board but have been using Shane's site for a while. I just getting into the technical aspects of canyoneering and would like to hook up with some people in the SLC metro area (I live in S. Jordan and work in Sp Fork) who are skilled and would not mind someone new tagging along once in a while.
I did Zero Gravity, Chute of Muddy Creek, and some of Ramp Canyon in Oct. and I want to go back down this weekend and do more, but I do not want to go solo. I suppose I cold do some non-technical hikes, but I would like to try and challenge myself...just not by myself.
I am a decent climber, good mtn biker, hiker, and outdoorsman so I will not hold you up or make you wait for me. I just lack the expertise and do not know anyone who has it.
If you are interested in heading down south and doing a canyon on Saturday let me know.
Thanks,
Jeff

thanks for the invite. I wish I could. I'm feeling ill the last few days and doubt I could get a kitchen pass for this weekend.

Man- that sounds like a blast. Wish I could. It sure is a nice time to go- what about the storm that's supposed to blow through?

I have been in CA all wek and did not even think about weather until now. scattered showers all weekend in Moab and Green River. I will have to rethink my destination. I may do something in the Wasatch or Uintahs instead.
