    Zion hike suggestions

I will be in Zion via Michigan with two friends on Sept. 26-29 this is the second trip here for two of us. The first trip we did the Narrows, Angels landing and Hidden canyon, this trip we are doing Orderville canyon on the 27th from the top down in one day then on the 28th we are doing the West rim trail from Lava point also will try to get back to Hidden canyon again if time permits. We are looking for one more hike to do, either on the 26th or the 29th we will probably have more time on the 26th (we fly into Vegas at 7:00 am) was thinking maybe a small peak to scramble on ? or Lower Red cave? open to anything challenging that requires no reppeling
but will have rope if needed for handlines. This may sound like alot but hope to go sun-up to sun down for a few days have a chow fest in town on the last night then stink the plane up on the way home (no showers)
    Thanks - Zeps

best site to get your beta
    http://www.zionnational-park.com/

Some classics you haven't included: canyon overlook, emerald pools.

For scrambling look for something cool on the east side from the above link.

FYI the most common accesses to get to Red Cave crosses private property. Please get the property owners permission to cross first.

I have a suggestion.... if you are flying into LV on the 26th consider visiting Valley of Fire. It's on your drive to Zion and is worth the side trip.

    Or visit Kanarra Creek

Coming from LV it's a better option than Red Cave and has fewer hoops to jump through. To visit Red Cave you will need to drive all the way through the park so the driving to Kanarra is shorter. Both Red Cave and Kanarra Creek are awesome places for hikers to visit.

Distance between watchman campground and Kanarra

It looks like a straight shot up 15 to that section of Zion to get to Kanarra Creek if we are comming from Vegas but we are camping at the Watchman campground about how long of a drive is it back?
