Take a moment out of your day to remember the events of that day eight years ago.

    Wow, Eight Years?

Thanks for the reminder, JP. For me, the slogan "Never Forget" will always be in my thoughts.

Lest we forget the events of 9/11/01 and the fact that our soldiers continue to die in service to our country, fly your flag proudly today. If you can't lower it to half-mast, fly a black streamer (same length as the flag) above the flag.

    Agreed. Never forget.

Let's hope this thread won't turn into a political debate.

I remember exactly where I was that day and remember the day well. I was working at the airport and didn't have a chance to hear much about it until late that night. America will never be the same and the even should never be forgotten.

9/11 continues to take its toll even today. Hundereds of 9/11 responders have died in the last 8 years due to various illnesses.
