Storm at Sunset - North Rim 8/23/09

I've just returned from spending four days visiting the North Rim. After our adventure on Saturday afternoon, we decided to watch yesterday's sunset from the veranda. Here are some pictures:

Thanks Kurt! I usually take all my photos with my iPhone.

I've never had a camera. This is the first time that I used my husband's camera. I have no idea how to use it, but I'm pleased with the photos. I think I will learn more about the camera now that I'm not so afraid of it.

We were sitting on the veranda of the Lodge at the North Rim. We took our books, ordered some drinks and sat there for about 4 hours watching the storm travel towards us. The hail pictures were taken from our supper table inside the restaurant.

I highly recommend traveling to the North Rim. But, you have to make your reservations well ahead of time. Lodging is very limited.
