Bull Mountain
Highpoint of Box Elder County
9,920'
There isn't really much to say, but we drove the 52 miles to the summit. The dirt road is long, and very rough in places. A high clearance 4WD would be needed.
Anyway, Enjoy the pics!Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, as vital to our lives and water and good bread

At first I was trying to figure out why this was in Hiking, Scrambling & Peak Bagging but now I see, A 100' hike and a peak bag, nice work! I think Box Elder is the most unique county in the state. So close to civilization but yet so far. I felt the most alone ever in my life on a trip to the Newfoundland Mountains in Box Elder.

Yeah, nothing fanciful about driving up to a peak (see this link as well http://www.bogley.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=123219) but it is a county highpoint, and I now have four more to go, and I will have Utah done. I should have them finished up this year.
AF Twin and Nebo are on the list this week, if the weather clears out
A quick run to Eccentric after a botched bid
And finish up with the home county's peak, Willard.
Then I will just stay inside and watch tv and get fat and grow old.Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit, as vital to our lives and water and good bread
