How to Rescue a Wet Cell Phone

Yesterday morning my 18 month old son took my work cellphone and dunked it in the toilet (kids :) ). My cell phone (which was over $500 brand new last year) had the flash light on and the screen was flickering. I quickly removed the battery and drained as much water as I could. I then tried a trick that worked great and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

I left the phone in a bag of rice over night and that sucked out the moisture allowing it to work again. It is now working like a champ. Go rice!

Thanks for the tip! Maybe that will resurrect my camera.
