Great White Icicle night descent last night??

Hey, we were coming off a climbing route last night (Daddy Long Legs and Rivers Edge) to the right of the Great White Icicle, and, we heard a whistle or two. Sure enough, right at dusk, folks were at the bulge pitch of the GWI.

We hiked around to the base of the waterfall after packing up in the dark, and, no sign of folks coming down. We didn't see headlamps, but, weren't in a position to see a light on the route if the folks were below the bulge but still a pitch or two above the base.

Anyone know these folks? Assuming they must have been just gettin' in some late night kicks. No calls for help and all seemed ok.

This was on the ACA forums. I think these are your guys~

Tuesday afternoon/ evening Aug 11, one of my sons and I tackled The Great White Icicle in Little Cottonwood Canyon East of Salt Lake City. In winter it is popular to ice climbers but in summer a delight to those canyoneers wanting a fun wet time in a beautiful alpine setting. You basically rappel 700 ft through a series of waterfalls. Water is only ankle deep but add the falls to that and it's a wet, refreshing, fun time.
Briefly, the trail begins near the power substation on the south side of the road heading east in LCC. We made our way up the canyon bottom west of the canyon where the waterfalls are. After hiking and scrambling 1600 ft. (GPS helpful) we dropped over to the east and into the bottom where we began the descent. Rappels range from 160 - 40 ft. We rigged from mostly established anchors. Some natural, some bolted, one was a mixture of bolts and ancient pitons. Had to add quick links to some webbing in 3 different places.
We printed a copy of the description in Climb-Utah after Googling up The Great White Icicle. Two of us went and it took 5 hours from car to car. 1hr 10 min to the first rappel. We went in the evening and had to finish with headlamps as the sun said adios.
For those in the SLC vicinity it is worth the ascent up to that elevation.
We had wet suits and it was just comfortable but would have been a bit cool without but nevertheless doable in this 90 plus degree weather.
