An Afternoon on Thunder Mountain
Guess I forgot to post up this little report.....better late than never. On the last weekend in July Amanda and I headed up onto the Grand Mesa for a few hours. After heading up Lands End Road to the observatory, we stopped to feed some of the chipmunks. I snapped a few photos...

Next we headed over to Island Lake and made our way along the Granby Lakes trail. This was a short 4.5 mile trail, but it was very bumpy and slow going the whole way.
