    Provo Peak - West Ridge

Yesterday after work fouristhenewone and I got together to hike up Provo peak. Due to snow, lack of daylight, and pure weakness we chose the direct or "wussy route" up the west ridge... 2800 vertical feet in just under 2 miles. We made the hike in 3.5 hours round trip... good times.

Ummm where is this? looks like a good place to take my daughter for a little hike but I have never spent much time in that area... how do you get to where you are parked etc.
Tacoma Said - If Scott he asks you to go on a hike, ask careful questions like "Is it going to be on a trail?" "What are the chances it will kill me?" etc. Maybe "Will there be sack-biting ants along the way?"

Here is the info for the very steep west route.
