    Mueller Park 6-2-09 report

Had a great ride, 10 of us showed.

Even though the clouds were threatening rain, the trail was still pretty crowded. It sprinkled a couple of times on us which wasn't bad at all, and in the last mile it really let loose on us. It was all good though, it kept the ride interesting with my V brakes operating at about 30%.

Last time I rode this, I made it all the way to the Rock without stopping. Today was much different.

Nice! Looks like I missed out on a fun ride. Let me know when you want to do AF Canyon. Out on Ridge Trail and down Tibble.
    Are we there yet?

Sorry I missed... looks like it was fun!

I was beat after yard work and moving rocks. I had lots of help and promised my helpers we would go for dinner and a bike ride when it was all done. I will post picks of my favorite posse later.

Fun ride! Did anybody discuss where we are riding next week? How about Dog Lake? Would it be on the right day? Hell, I forget...

The gate doesnt open for traffic til July 1, if that makes a difference - unless you were planning on riding up on the road first.

Looks like a great group - I love that trail, but dont travel up there much to ride it.
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. ~ Frost

Did anyone go past elephant rock at all? any idea how the trail conditions were up at top? Looks like I missed out on a good ride!

Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

I bet the trail is okay. I do recall a few muddy spots up past the rock last year at this time though. It might be a little wet after today. In a couple weeks it will be golden...
