It was completely dry two weeks ago but it could have easily changed with the stormy weather this week.

Ram reported this on the canyons group as a responce from the same questions. Up until this past weekend the pothole had been bone dry. So probably not dry but how much water? Hopefully a conditions report/trip report will be posted soon.

Reading the previous post assume he mean's "all bets are off on the pothole being dry"

Southern Utah got pounded this past weekend. My canyon partners on Monday cut a week long Escalante trip short because they were getting pounded by rain in Escalante.

Everything in Cedar Mesa and Moab is completely full.

We were in the North Wash area over the weekend, and there was on and off rain. Got to do Munchkin in class C conditions. Weather window allowed us to do Witches Cauldron on Sunday, and it was quite full of water. Fun stuff! Nice Monday morning so did a few mini-slots before heading home. Started to thunderstorm just as we were leaving the area. Likely most of the stuff in Utah, now has full conditions.

Talked to some friends that went to do Zero G on Monday, and the initial arches were waterfalls. They didn't go through...

The keeper pothole in Neon was topped off on May 24th. It might take a month to six weeks for it to get back down to a 'keeper' level of water.

I'm hoping the dead cow washed out of Short Canyon. I'm planning on anther family canyoneering trip to Cedar Mesa in the near future and Short is on the hit-list.

One more update... Baptist and Chute both flashed over the weekend so expect some wading and probably swimming in Chute for a while.
