An old friend
An old friend of mine died of a heart attack at the age of 33 last Friday. I've known the guy ever since I came to United States 17 years ago. Just got back from his funeral today. He was in pretty good condition, a bit over weight though. He used to own a Russian restaurant on 9th East.
Died of a heart attack while taking a shower. No symptoms before hand. Just the heart gave out. Odd and sad.
Goes to show you, you never know when one of us may go, enjoy each others company while it lasts and live the life to the fullest. Our day may be tomorrow... who knows
RIP Oleg.

Thanks guys. Was sad to see his mom there and him all "dead". Sometimes you wonder what is the purpose for our lives. Definitely made me think twice about going on the rafting trip today.
But I guess we can't run from our fate and got to live the life to the fullest. My wife told me, if I kick the bucket on this trip, she will never talk to me again. That would suck

Alex so sorry to hear about your friend. He was so young.
You can only live your life as if today could be the last. Live a life you are proud of and make sure those most important to you know how much you love them.

Sorry for your loss, Alex, 33 is way too young. Being quite a bit older I've lost a lot of friends and it always hurts.
