    Craner Canyon

I'm interested in visiting the geocache on Craner Peak (in the Lakeside mountains near Rowley) but they've put a quarry at the head of the canyon and posted it for "no trespassing". It looks to me from the map that is BLM land. Can they legally block you from access? I know there are other ways to get to the mountain but I'm just wondering about this blocking of a road that
used to provide access. If anyone knows or has an answer to this, please input it. Thanks.
