    Kings Peak with a dog

I know some aren't real keen on dogs in the outdoors, but I'm going to ask anyway: Would it be out of the question to hike Kings in the summer with a dog? I'm planning on hiking the standard route from Henrys fork and I don't want to run into any terain that would be too steep for my dog and have to turn back. He's a pretty good hiking dog and has made the scramble up Mt. Olympus before. How would King's compare? I'd appreciate your opinions/input

Hiking dogs rule! I used to take my Jack Russel hiking with me all the time. He's getting a bit old though and cant do more than a mile or 2 now. Sorry I don't know about Kings peak though.
Your safety is not my responsibility.

There was a dog on Kings last time I hiked it. The last mile or so is all boulders. Just a big pile of rocks in the sky. These are good sized rocks too. Anyway, if your dog can scramble up this stuff he'll be fine. Like I said, this other dog had little problems.
