Gooseberry Mesa Practice Loop
I am so proud of Sarah. She didn't want to go on a dirt road. Swore up and down she wasn't going with us. However the little devil is the one who chose to ride the practice loop off the White Trail.
They both had fun and want to go again.
This video is lacking... just a flip video held in my hand as we biked a bit of the trail. Make you sick I warn ya.

That's awesome! I love seeing kids out on the trail. Makes me wish I had started riding when I was little, instead of just 2+ years ago.

Beats sitting at home playing video games- way to get them out and doing something! I've never done the Practice Loop. Next time I'm down there I should do it so I can say I've ridden all the trails on the Goose.
Are we there yet?

I can't wait until next April. Think we are going to make this a family tradition..... well that is until they don't want to hang with mom anymore. Hopefully that will never happen.
I am soooo glad to be home and to be sleeping in my comfy bed tonight. Blah I am beat! Now I need a vacation from the vacation.Chere'

Wow, very cool. You have balls (wait no you don't ) taking your kids to gooseberry. That's hard core! They must be pretty good riders. Beech and I have seen some n00b casualties on this trail. Maybe Beech can even dig up a clip for you.

The key word here is "Practice" loop. It was very tame.
My boy did slide off the bike seat and smacked himself pretty hard. I told him he would only do that once or twice before he figured out how not to let that happen again.Chere'

It looks like you're gonna ride off the edge of a cliff! Yikes!!
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. ~ Frost

No it wasn't as bad as it looks. I promise. I couldn't stomach thinking that if one my kids made a small mistake they would fall off a cliff. There was plenty of room.
