Today was deep.
As of 2pm today, we had received 32 inches in the prior 24 hours. 47 inches in the prior 48. My day confirmed these numbers. I went to Snowbird and got Mineral Basin opening and it was deep enough to make me stop. If you weren't stopped, you had snow in your face the whole time. Quite amazing. I heard from everybody and their brother that it was either 'almost too deep', 'the deepest POW I've ever skied' or 'the best day ever!'. I skied Mineral, Lone Pine & Baldy all day. I worked at Snowbird for 4 years and got out skiing a ton, and I will have to say, today ranked in my top 2 or 3. Looks like others on this site have been getting it too.
Mt. Baldy, chest deep:

My spot was untouched. Not deep but nice skif of powder on top.
Was going to go bike with the kids by the river this afternoon... but they both are grounded for fighting over chores. Guess that is out. GrrrrChere'
