Jump Shots
Seems like I've seen a lot of jump shots or jumping shots on the web lately. Not that this is a new concept, but it really seems to be gaining popularity. So...post up some of your favorite jumping shots. I'll throw one up of my best MJ pose to get things started. I know Summit has a sweet one he posted not long back at the GSL too (which I played around with in PS, BTW so let me know if you want to see Summit).
Anyway...
Here's one more from the same series.

Good MJ, but c'mon you're supposed to look like you're flying in the air towards a hoop. At least turn your head sideways

PM that to me.
I have quite the collection of jump shots. I love the looks I get from people when I set up the tripod, start the timer, and starting jumping.... I had a large group of people staring at me trying to figure out what the hell I doing while shooting at Utah Lake last week.

With Summit's permission...here's one he posted a few months ago that I thought was sweet. The dramatic cloud cover and lighting was too hard to resist playing with. I named this one Wizard's Jump (yea, I know I'm a dork).
after looking at it again, I should've just gave him some electric fingers or something. The fire looks like crap, but oh wellLeave No Trace

Looks pretty awesome if you ask me.
I took this one last night while waiting for the sunset at Utah Lake.

Not quite sure why these are gaining prominence, is it a flash back to the old '80s Toyota commercials?
Photobucket is really pushing this genre too these days.
