    TR: Logandale, Nevada

We arrived Friday morning around 0130 (am), setup camp, hoisted the flag and got the Satellite TV working (priorities, you know).

On Friday, we rode through the sand dunes and clocked 26 miles just goofing around the various trails.

Today, we clocked over 60 miles heading back toward I-15 and enjoying over 20 miles of dry creek bed, red rocks and sand.

Temps in the high 60's, low 70's and mostly sunny. What's not to like about this place?

Attached is our trail marks since arrival (in .KML format for Google Earth)

In .ZIP (.KML for google earth within) is our tracks.

When I get home Sunday night, we'll create a consolidated YOUTUBE video of some riding in this area.

Glad you made it out there. Nothing like a warm weekend with the family riding. We made it out Friday to the desert here and the weather was great.

Oh man, I'm jealous! It looks like the weather was perfect for riding, and the scenery down there is really nice. I'm looking forward to the video.

A few more photos from this morning. We decided to hit the sand dune area one last time before heading home:

And, on a lark, I decided to drive most of the way home wearing helmet and goggles!

..Just got home, so I'll edit up about 6 minutes of video in the next few days.

Good 'ole Logandale. We were not able to make it out there yesterday. We decided to hit the REI scratch and dent sale instead. After waiting in line for 5 hours I got a 0 degree north face down bag for $49(retail at $20), a sweet backpack for $26 (retail at $114), and a metolious rope bag for $15 (retail at $50). SCORE.

Did you make it back on the route towards I-15? For some reason your zip file, for me anyways, doesn't work.

I love that short section of dunes. There are ton's of jumps with nice rounded landings.

God damn fat fingers. $320. It was a steal, someone returned it because it was "too warm". Looks brand new and more importantly smells brand new.

If it smells like a douche canoe, that is when 49 bucks isn't quite worth it.

Looks like a really cool area, I have never been there. Friend of mine go camping at a place near there called Whitney Pocket that looks nice.

    Thanks for the sweet pics.

One time I drove home from Moab with no pants on, but that's a different thread...

This question probably belongs in the Politics section, but have you now reversed course on Obama? If yes, you got what you wanted..
