Should "In God we Trust" be taken off our money?

Here is an email I got today. looks like right now with over 11 million votes 85% say leave it.

    The response is overwhelming.

    Subject: Will NBC be surprised?

Here's your chance to let the media know where the people stand on our
faith in God, as a nation.

NBC is taking a poll on "In God We Trust" to stay on our American
    currency.

Please send this to every person you know so they can vote on this
    important subject.

Please do it right away, before NBC takes this off the web page.

Poll is still open so you can vote.

This is not sent for discussion; if you agree forward it, if you
    don't, delete it.

By me forwarding it, you know how I feel . I'll bet this was a surprise to NBC.

What does it matter? Even I think we should leave it.

Of course I think we should also have money with Insha'Allah (Allah willing or roughly; Allah's will be done) printed on it.

    Still other money should say;

Shema Yisrael Adonai Eloheinu Adonai Echad Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God! The Lord is One! (Judaism)

Okay, so the majority of persons want God's name on our money, has anybody stopped to ask if He wants His name on our dirty money?

Wow, good point. I have often lamented the countless who have died in god's name, how many more have died for the coin with his name on it?

Thanks, DiscGo. I try to see things a different way. Try to be open minded.

Just for the record, I am all for keeping the money as is, er, the way it keeps changing. Anyone see the new pennies?

I think God would prefer to have his name on the Euro or the Swiss frank.

Does he live here in Salt Lake? I checked the White Pages, but he isn't listed.

No, he now lives back east. His address is 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

I am offering a new service to the offended liberals.

I will come by and remove these offensively marked monetary bills and coins from your home

I will in return leave you with anti Bush literature.
