Anyone here do web development and design?
I thought I'd check here first due to the abnormally lopsided amount of IT people who frequent this site. Hopefully there is the right person on here who could really use the money too.
My brother, in Syracuse, needs a site up and running in about 7 days. It needs to have the basics of a nice, company website complete with pictures, email links, information, etc. He also needs it to have a shopping cart, credit card payment option and things like that. I can go into more detail if needed.
He's willing to pay cash to the right person. Please PM me for his contact information.

I'd throw my hat in, but I'm super busy right now.
I'm going to suggest looking into Wordpress if he wants it quick, just for the basic info.
There are a lot of websites out there built with wordpress software now.
The problem with hiring somebody to do it is they'll "complete it" and the customer keeps coming back with "ooh, can you make this button red?"
I'd suggest downloading the stuff from www.wordpress.org and then maybe next month he can see if that's satisfying him. I've got 3 websites using this software.
Oh, and "Can you rank my website #1 on Google?"

I could probably do it but in 7 days.. hell no.
wordpress is not good for this but a CMS like joomla would work. the hard part is implimenting the shoping cart function. depending on what type of site it is and what hes selling it could range from easy to extremely hard.
but if he just wants a shoping cart function then oscommerce has that down.
for something like that from a professional group with a rush of 5 days now. that would probably cost $500+
EDIT::::::
this is joomla 1.5 with virtuemart exstention\/\/\/
my old website now my testing website.

I'm still suggesting WordPress.
You can disabling it from looking like a blog by setting a static home page.
Get your shopping cart stuff embedded in the sidebar with the text widget.
I could get something going for you in a day, but I just don't have the time.
