Would you be willing to PM me a bit of info on the hike?
Summit42: I took my GPS which helped immensely on that hike. There is no trail, just knowing where to go. I have been all over that area (probably 10 times in the last 5 years) but that was the first time to that bend. Much of it was trial and error and scrambling. I have my GPS track in Google Earth but wouldn't know how to send them to you. If anyone knows how to share them, I'd be obliged.

    More details here: http://www.bogley.com/forum/viewtopi...284&highlight=

So it looks like we work for the same company
Trackrunner: Nice, I did present in the buyers meeting yesterday and therefore, apparently we work together. You'll have to PM me with your info or IM me at work. I have seen Bogley on at least one screen at work but doubt it was anyone that attended that meeting.

what photo-hosting site are you guys using that allows you to keep the original dimensions of your photos to post here?
I use my own website which is run through http://www.proimageguide.com/. Not sure how the backend stuff works, just upload and post the path.

I figured as much, I just wanted to compare my proposed route to you actual route. Hummm... in google earth you should be able to right click the route in the tool bar and save it as a KMZ or KML file.

    Thanks

Summit, PM or email me your email address and I'll send you what I've got. By the way, if you look just south of that spot you'll see another river bend that looks similar but really it is just a big crater. We were there a few years ago for different reasons and it is not worth the trip.

I think it's time for this thread to become a sticky.

Nice work everyone. I'm with Finn. I want a real camera now. My wife will thank you all later for this.
