We've ASKED the BLM to put in a HOT TUB at Sandthrax, but you know how they are, so SLOW to respond...

Oh yeah.... after a day of canyoneering nothing beats cocktails around the pool followed by a nice restaurant and a good nights sleep in an air conditioned room sandwiched between clean sheets...

New to hiking canyons with rope, Jody and myself accomplished more than we ever thought we would. After our first Keyhole we became very addicted. Thanks to Tom and ZAC for helping us get our feet wet.(and also giving us another chance to come back after Jodys food poisoning adventure.)

Our rookie list and my best summer yet:

    Keyhole x4
    Middle Echo
    Pine Creek
Boundry > middle Kolob > out the narrows
    Spry x2
    Water Canyon
    Das Boot > Subway x2
    Orderville
    Benson Creek
    Mystery

Let me know which canyons, and when you want to hook up. Would be glad to join you heading through some of them...

The girlfriend joined me for some of the trips. Check her out styling while pushing her way through the log soup in Black Hole:

    or read about the fun:

    ;)

Hope to hook up with you again for some canyons soon Dan; it's been a long time... Looking forward to hearing your Alaska tales (over a Colorado beer, of course...)

    Later,
    A.J.

It's not blurry; but it is 50 paces. The point was that she was pushing her way through log soup, and still smiling. :)

Here's a couple shots at 30 paces for you...
