Every time I drive into Moab, I can't help but slow down by the airport... I'd love to see that with my own eyes.

Beautiful! Man, I dream of doing that stuff. When I got my pilot's license current again a few years back (and dreamed of buying into a share of an airplane - probably a Maule) the goal was to fly down that way one of these days. Alas, with the spiraling costs of aviatin', I've decided to poke and prod my few spare dollars into other directions. Still, I do dream. Bought all the sectionals between here and there, just in case...
A workmate and 2 partners flew their Centurion down to the tip of South America (or darn close) a couple of years ago. The standouts for him were Southern Utah/Northern Arizona, and the Amazon Basin (on the way back - they went counter-clockwise). Pretty sweet!
