TR: Cottonwood Wash to Sage Flat

Not much to report on this one, and I only took a few photos, but got some decent video. I had already ridden most of this trail--here's my trip report from my last ride there. I parked the truck and we started riding the ATVs just a couple of miles east of the Cleveland-Lloyd dinosaur quarry in the northern San Rafael Swell. Somebody had already been out there recently on an ATV, so we were following their tracks in the snow for most of the ride. We didn't quite make it down to Sage Flat because of some bad snow drifts, plus we were quickly running out of daylight. As it was, we ended up riding after the sun went down, but we witnessed a gorgeous sunset (while freezing our tails off!).

I plan on returning to this trail again in the spring when things have dried out, and I hope to get closer to the cabin on Sage Flat. I don't think the trail actually goes to the cabin, so I'll likely have to hike in to it.
