    New from So. California

    Hi all... We have been up to Utah several times riding ATV's so I found this site. Been browsing a bit and am now joining.

    When it's cold up there (like now) we stay away and ride in the deserts down here. Hope thats OK with you guys. I mean were not freezing and such.

    You sure do have a pretty state!

    Welcome to the site! Always good to see "fresh blood". I used to live in El Cajon & La Mesa area so we used to be practically neighbors. Loved driving through your area heading out to Julian all the time. My favorite memories of the desert for this time of year are taking our old christmas tree and having a bonfire. Amazing how fast those suckers burn.

    Anyways, hope you enjoy tour time here and throw some pics up from your area.

    I have had my eye on the San Diego area for some time now. It gets too cold in Utah during the winter for my taste and I love the beach. Maybe someday...

    We have been busy trying to finish our house here so we can semi-retire and travel more. Would be nice to spend a month or so up there in the Summer and another month down here in the desert in Winter. This economy falling apart didn't help so we missed our trip to Utah this summer but we should still finish it this year. We are doing all the work ourselves to save money.

    We sent the last day of 2008 out in the desert in shirt sleeves and that makes the dust acceptable.
