Sugar Bowl bound

My sister and I got invited to attend the Sugar Bowl by one of her friends who happens to work for a company that owns a private suite in the Superdome. The only down side is that it's an all Alabama crowd in the suite. Oh well.....I will still cheer for Utah.

It was very last minute, and the plane tickets were pretty expensive, but we're going to stay about 10 days. My oldest sister still lives there, so we get free lodging and she even lets us borrow one of their cars. We fly in on New Year's Eve, so we'll get to ring in the new year in party central!

I'm very excited! It was last minute and VERY unexpected. I just wish that more Ute fans were going to be there. I sent my sister (who lives in New Orleans) and her husband a 3' x 5' Utah flag to fly for game day. Their neighbors are really big Alabama fans (alumni) and fly their 'Bama flag every game day. Should be interesting.......

As they say in the Big Easy "yeah you right!" The locals DID cheer for Utah I'm happy to say. It didn't seem like a one-sided crowd by any means. There were a lot of boos from the crowd when Saban made his appearance.
