I thought it looked like fun to be a guide but then I got involved with the scouts as a leader and got a taste for dealing with inexperienced individuals and found that I lack the required patience to teach morons. I love scouting but I hate whiners and it seems most youth that I have dealt with don't have the sense of adventure that is needed to enjoy difficult yet rewarding experiences. Not to mention that unless to leave close and have a good supply of customers it would be difficult to make a living. But oh the life it would be to canyoneer everyday for pay...
